Test Specialist

Quality is at the heart of the software development process at Medis. Since Medis creates medical software products that are classified as medical devices, national and international regulations for the safety and effectiveness of our products apply.

As a test specialist you will be responsible for helping ensure that Medis software meets the high standard in quality expected both by customers and by regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

maintaining the R&D test environment
providing high-level descriptions of test processes
creating test plans and test descriptions
performing tests according to test plans and test descriptions
implementing test scripts (manual and automated tests)
checking requirements coverage
preparing final test statements required for product delivery

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
knowledge of and experience with the entire software development cycle and its respective phases
experience with testing methods (e.g. TMAP) and tools

Personal Skills

very strong analytical skills
strong communication skills
committed and pro-active
able to strike the balance between quality improvement and test process efficiency
excellent written and spoken English and Dutch
