Medis Unveils RV Automatic Contour Detection in QMass® MR Quantification Software
LEIDEN, the Netherlands -- November 28, 2008 -- At the RSNA 2008, quantification software supplier Medis medical imaging systems will present the latest version of cardiac MR software solution QMass® MR, with its innovative functionality for the automatic contour detection of the right ventricle in cardiac MR images.
LV (left ventricular) automatic contour detection has always been at the core of the comprehensive QMass MR software, which enables cardiologists and radiologists to analyze cardiac MR studies and combine quantitative results with qualitative findings. The software now also makes RV (right ventricular) automatic contour detection available to the cardiology and radiology communities.
Automatic contour detection of the right ventricle is an important innovation that enables cardiologists and radiologists to quickly calculate and compare LV and RV volumes. It saves valuable time in the evaluation of MR studies of patients with congenital heart disease.
QMass MR 7.1 features wizards that provide guidance for performing LV and RV ventricular analyses and advanced editing tools. Medis will show QMass MR 7.1 at the RSNA, at booth 3338.
