QAngio XA

QAngio XA has proven to be very intuitive and easy to learn, even with the challenging cases in our large real-world population trial. It allows us to perform a high volume of quantitative angiographic analyses with limited personnel.

Clemens von Birgelen, PD PhD
Professor of Interventional Cardiology, University of Twente,
Enschede, the Netherlands
Associate Professor of Medicine (PD), University of Duisburg-Essen,
Essen, Germany
Interventional Cardiologist and Co-Director, Department of Cardiology, Thoraxcentrum Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands

Our experience with QAngio XA revealed consistent, valid and reproducible intra- and inter-observer results with shorter analysis times both in QCA and QVA analysis in a multitude of large, multi-center device trials with angiographic endpoints.

We have been using the Medis QAngio XA software in our core laboratory since 1991. All major interventional device trials with angiographic endpoints have been evaluated using Medis QAngio XA as the standard.

The Nordic Bifurcation Study Group has used the QAngio XA bifurcation software for the analyses of the angiographic endpoints in our studies. It is our opinion that QAngio XA sets the current standard for angiographic 2-D evaluation of bifurcation lesions.

Michael Maeng, MD, PhD
Interventional Cardiologist
Department of Cardiology
Aarhus University Hospital, Skejby
Aarhus, Denmark

Our results demonstrate that the new QAngio XA bifurcation software can be consistently applied to the analysis of bifurcation lesions before and after angioplasty, with an intra- and interobserver reproducibility equal to or better than the conventional analysis system and a significantly shorter analysis time.

Professor in Cardiology

QMass MR

We rely on QMass MR for rapid quantitative analysis of cardiac function as well as for visual review of cardiac function and perfusion. It is more stable and reliable than many other viewers and PACS software, and we have used it consistently for the past 8 years. QMass MR has an excellent user interface that is easily learned by both our technologists and physicians.

David A. Bluemke, MD, PhD
Professor of Radiology and Medicine
Clinical Director of MRI, Department of Radiology
Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

Medis is one of the first to recognize the importance of the right ventricle for pediatric cardiologists. Their tools generate quantitative assessments of right ventricular size, function and mass, which is invaluable in the management of many of our patients.

Ruchira Garg, MD
Pediatric Cardiologist
Miami Children's Hospital

We have been using QMass MR and QFlow software in Leeds since 1995 for both our clinical and research applications. This has enabled us to build a large, reliable database of normal ranges for left and right ventricular volumetric and mass data.

The QMass MR tool for quantification of delayed enhancement supports our research in a field of growing interest.

I have been using the new QMass MR 7.2 version for some time now, and I must say that the latest enhancements in the interface have significantly improved the user experience. This new release really makes a difference to me.

With its streamlined interface, automatic RV contour detection, and improved LV contour detection, QMass® MR 7.1 makes working with MR studies as easy and as time-efficient for us as working with echo.
