Over the past 25 years Medis has been active in the R&D and commercialization of state-of-the-art analytical software packages for various applications. It has been our experience that dedicated two-day’s courses with hands-on training by the senior researchers and developers of these software packages are very helpful for new users, as well as for established users who need a refresher. With the development of the new Quantitative Flow Ratio (QFR) for the functional assessment of coronary narrowings from 3D QCA, Medis once again proves its high quality in quantification and its innovative nature. QFR is to be applied in the cath lab, before, during and/or after PCI. To stay well informed about the latest developments in quantitative cardiovascular imaging, and start the procedure towards QFR certification, we strongly recommend this training course.
Cardiologists, radiologists, fellows, technicians and physicists who currently are, or will be working with the Medis Suite XA and QAngio XA 3D with QFR analytical software packages and need to familiarize themselves with all the ins and outs of these systems and with the clinical applications.

The Medis office is located in Leiden, Rembrandt’s hometown. It’s a cultural hotspot and a thriving university town. Within short travelling distances of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague, Leiden offers the best of both worlds: a smaller town with its own character and attractions, yet with easy access to the major cities. It’s also only 8 km from the beach (Katwijk aan zee).
Schiphol Airport has its own train station and from there trains depart every 15 minutes for destination Rotterdam.
This train also stops at Leiden Central Station.
From Schiphol it’s easy to reach Leiden using highway A4 / A44 Amsterdam – The Hague.
If necessary we can provide a parking space at our office. Note: limited spaces available.
